We LOVED our experience here! Our server (Pancho) was so attentive! Refilling my water and wine constantly, bringing different types of bread over (you won't go hungry here!), and delivering the food in a very timely manner. He was also very helpful helping me decide to order the bolognese rather than the gnocchi because "bolongase is delicious in winter". We honestly loved everything from the wine choices, to the extensive and delicious menu, to the creme brulee. We will DEFINITELY come back here for dates in the future! This place was terrible as my Bf and I Are seated (a black couple) our waiter was very cut and dry with us not personal at all. I order my burger med well and it comes out out in about 8 mins rare. I ask for it to be cooked more and it came back out 5 mins later, more burnt on the outside and just as pink in middle. The server was annoyed with me and not apologetic at all and rushing to go home. I usually don’t have such an opinion for poor customer service restaurants but this felt terrible.

5 star rating is for Sunday brunch only. They have a prix fixe menu for $12 that comes with cinnamon bun, orange juice, coffee and a choice of meal. The service is excellent and the ambiance is great.

My husband's fish that was the special of the day was raw... they took forever to bring it back and didn't offer a discount. The starters were great but overall, all portions were small.

Aquitaine has always been one of my favorite places. The food and service are consistently good. The cuisine is a slightly different take on classic French brasserie fare which I enjoy. The ingredients are fresh. The presentation is good.

We love this location! Awesome food and exceptional service. Our waitress Stephanie is the sweetest! The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect.

The customer service is always quick, great character, very welcoming employees. I will return again when I get in town.

Very nice place. I was at the south end restaurant and liked it, so when I saw they also had another place in Chestnut Hill I checked it out. While the ambiance of the south end is certainly more charming, this location does its best to recreate it. The food is very good and the service was outstanding. The food preparation was unusually long but I suspect they had some unexpected issue and the waitress tried her best to keep us patiently wait.

Had such an amazing meal! Fabio the manager was so accommodating and our sever Stephanie made our night special! The food was so good I only wish I had room to try dessert. Next time :)

I eat in this lovely spot often! This is the best place to grab a bite. I visit this spot at least once a month. The meals are excellent, the crew is professional and the cost is affordable. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a decent lunch.

Waiting for 20 mins for waitress to take the order, and waited for her to come when we finished. I got red cabbage with my pan seared scallops, but didn’t get the pear and celeriac purée stated on the menu. « Hand-cut fries » on my partner’s dish were the frozen fries that didn’t taste good at all. Rather small portions for the price paid. Disappointed with lack of professionalism from staff. Lack of attention from staff, no smiles. Not a great, relaxed atmosphere. Did not feel like an expensive French restaurant. Will go to a real French restaurant where we get treated well with great customer service, not like fast food restaurant service.

Got birthday takeout & everything was great & fresh. The steak frites wasn’t tough/chewy, just melt in your mouth good. Onion soup is good too.

Food was ok. Atmosphere was nice but the acoustics made it hard to hear others. Service was great but getting the food was very slow. They were short staffed. They made up for it by giving us free desserts and appetizers and personally apologized.

Finest spot to eat some food when in a rush. Their service is fast, rates are reasonable, fantastic mood. Highly recommended

Best burger in Boston. Hands down...Sorry Craigie on Main! It really is...Plus, they recently had a major renovation. Even more elegant than before. You feel as though you’ve traveled on a 6 hour flight across the Atlantic and landed in an upscale Parisian bistro. What are you waiting for? Just book a table. You will not be disappointed. And, your tastebuds will thank you. Oh, and don’t pay attention to the rating here. It is much better than that.

The food was amazing there. Service was slow but that was because of the fact that it was Father's Day. Lighting was dim, made me a tad sleepy. The tuna tartar was awesome as was my hanger steak.

This spot obviously knows how to serve their clients. Regularly with a very welcoming demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, regularly flavorful and clean.

service good. restaurant is lovely. Food hot but disappointing. The crab appetizer just didn't taste good. i had the duck which was bland with no crispy skin. Greens and wild rice were mixed up. I asked for the duck medium and they kept suggesting rare. I've been eating duck since I was a kid and wanted it medium. it was rare. I left two pieces on my plate. Steak was mediocre. Overall, we won't go back.
